“ This place was a little off the beaten path, but welll worth the visit if you're anywhere near Expo. We got there around 10 pm and had to wait about 20 minutes before we were seated. The food was excellent, came out quickly, and reasonably priced. So glad we went! ”

However, it's important to note that you should be prepared to wait for a table, as the restaurant is small and tends to get quite hot. Unfortunately, on my second visit, I was disappointed to find out that the star of the menu, the pozole, was not available. Nevertheless, we decided to try other dishes like memelas, tacos dorados, and enchiladas, and they were incredibly flavorful and delicious. The prices at Merendero Tapatio are moderate, offering good value for the tasty and traditional food they serve.
